From Picnic Bay through to Horseshoe Bay, the experience is friendly and delightfully tropical. Make your visit as active as you want and with an ideal climate, activities such as tennis or a game of golf, horse riding, sailing and Jet Ski tours can be experienced. There are plenty of attractions, adventure and activities. There are also fantastic cruises to embark on for the day to discover other parts of the island, where you can go snorkelling, tunnel diving, scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef and rock jumping which is all combined in with an amazing lunch and friendly crew who really make the trip worthwhile.

Magnetic Island, is a Queensland hot spot and is situated only 8km off shore from Townsville and is accessed via regular 25 minute fast catamaran passenger ferry trips. A barge service carries cars and camper vans to the island if you have your own means of transportation and both ferries arrive on the island at the Nelly Bay Magnetic Harbour ferry terminal which offers access to good public transport. It isn’t necessary to have your own or vehicle as there are plenty of ways in which you can see all of Magnetic Island for yourself. Whether you see it by horseback, on a bicycle or hire a scooter for the day, you can get arrange many different hire options which will all be at your fingertips.
